Lofoten Crossing — 160 km in 5 Days | Gear Tips
The Lofoten Islands are one of the most exciting trekking destinations in Europe – raw northern nature, jagged peaks, deserted beaches, and dramatic fjords. In August 2025, Dimitar Dimitrov and Antoniya Grigorova completed a south-to-north crossing – an adventure that took them 160 kilometers through the wildest parts of the archipelago.
The Challenge
Five days and two hours in constantly changing conditions – strong winds, muddy trails, and endless climbs. Every day brought new challenges, but the reliable gear from Basecamp made it possible to complete the crossing from the very first to the very last kilometer.
